Non Invasive Body Contouring Expert | London
Dr Galyna Selezneva
Body contouring specialist
MB ChB MMed MSc MRCPsych BCAM
Hi, I’m Doctor Galyna Selezneva, an award-winning Aesthetic Doctor who specialises in non-invasive body contouring. Practising out of the Dr Rita Rakus Clinic in Knightsbridge, my patients often call me the “Ice Queen” – the queen of fat freezing! I’m an expert in using Coolsculpting and Ice Aesthetics to achieve personal body goals. Whether that’s getting rid of stubborn pockets of fat, non-surgical face and body lifts, or skin rejuvenation to make you look ten years younger. All without going under the knife.

How I became a body contouring expert
Born in Ukraine, I grew up surrounded by a family of doctors. My mother took me to see a dermatologist at the age of 13 when I started having skin problems. Since that moment my philosophy became that it’s easier to prevent problems than to deal with consequences.
My roots inspired me to train as a medical doctor and it was here that I discovered energy devices for health and medical reasons. In fact, in the 90s my family were one of the pioneers of technological medicine and I used my first ever radio frequency machine in 1999.
Non-invasive medicine sparked something within me. I decided to follow this passion all the way to California where I studied Ice Aesthetics at the best place possible – CoolScuplting University at The Zeltiq Headquarters.

Non-invasive body contouring for over 10 years
Alongside practising Aesthetic Treatments and non-invasive Body Contouring for over 10 years, I’m also a trained Psychiatrist. I have a Master’s Degree in Psychiatry and Economics and am a Member at The Royal College of Psychiatry.
Eating disorders and addictions are areas I’m highly experienced in. It all goes hand-in-hand when it comes to supporting and guiding my patients through their treatment journeys. We could look at modern aesthetic medicine as a way to ‘fix’ ourselves, but it’s more important to create unity in mind, body, emotions and spirit – understanding the why.
I’ve been lucky enough to become the go-to body doctor for credible publications over the years and have been featured in Tatler, Grazia, The Telegraph and The Sunday Times to name a few.
